19TilDawn is an old school thrash band from Battle Creek, MI. They are described by some as a Megadeth/Iron Maiden hybrid due to their gravelly vocals and screaming guitar leads.
People have compared us to old school metal bands like Megadeth and Metallica. We are honored to be compared to such incredible musicians like them. But the truth is, we are 19TilDawn. Though we may have similar sounds to other bands, the many influences each member of 19TilDawn brings to the table creates a unique style all our own.
People think every band should be defined. An image, a sound, what makes the band who they are? We create a diverse sound that shatters the idea of grouping us into a single image or genre. We play what we feel and nobody will say, “that doesn't sound like you.” Because we are 19TilDawn, and we decide what sounds like us.
As some of you may have noticed, the 19TilDawn line up has changed. Dean Gray and Joe Heit have made a very difficult choice to leave the band. There is no bad blood, or hard feelings, or nasty "you're fired" stories. But sometimes personal situations make being in a band very difficult. Dean and Joe will always be founding members of 19TilDawn we send nothing but love to our brothers while they figure out the next chapter of their lives.
On the positive note, our new line up is shaping up to be amazing. Chris Sparrow's nephew, Zakk Macciomei, who has pretty much been an honorary member of the band since about 2013 anyway, has joined the 19TilDawn Army as our new kick ass bass player. We are looking forward to a great future with Zakk as we hit the road and the studio in the near future.
As far as the bio videos below. We have decided not to take these down since the story of 19TilDawn has not changed just because certain members have. This band is no stranger to line up changes and these videos are a fair representation of who we are and what we've accomplished thus far. We will be making a part 7 very soon to officially welcome Zakk into the fold.

AdryA is a hungarian group formed by vocalist/songwriter with the same name in 2014. Their style is best described as ExperiMetal the main characteristics of which are haunting, mysterious vocals, catchy but unique melodies garnished by a powerful musical background with massive guitar riffs and tasteful electronical arrangements. Their lyrics are chains of contemplative thoughts induced by various life-events based on the lessons learnt by experiencing them, trying to understand the reason behind them and decrypt the message they convey.
Shortly after releasing their debut single When We Were One in October 2017, the band had to search for a new bass player for the 5th time in their history. In the beginning of 2018 the group finally settled into a stable line-up, including members:

The rock band Alchemy rises from the ashes of Marcello Spera (lead vocals and rhythm guitar) and Cristiano Stefana's (lead guitar) past musical experiences, joined by Matteo Severini (drums), Matteo Castelli (bass) and Andrew Trabelsi (keyboard). The band records its first EP, “Rise Again” in April 2013, which sets the start of the live shows. They play throughout all northern Italy, sharing the stage with internationally known artists such as Don Airey, Will Hunt, Arthemis, Hell In The Club, Rain, Headless and Sandness. In 2016 they record the first LP, “Never Too Late”, produced by Street Symphonies Records, receiving positive reviews from all around the world. At the moment, the band is working on the next record, while the live and promotional activity goes on constantly in Italy and neighbouring countries.
Gli Alchemy nascono dalle passate esperienze musicali di Marcello Spera (voce) e Cristiano Stefana (chitarra), seguiti dopo qualche tempo da Luca Cortesi (batteria), Matteo Castelli (basso) ed Andrew Trabelsi (tastiere).
Nell’aprile del 2013 entrano nello studio di Tommy dell’Olio per registrare il primo EP, “Rise Again”, ed ha inizio l’attività live. Suonano in tutto il nord Italia, condividendo il palco con artisti di fama nazionale ed internazionale (Hell In The Club, Arthemis, Don Airey, Headless, Sandness, Rain).

ANDREI CERBU & THE ROCKIN' GROOVE

Andrei Cerbu was born in 2002, in Iasi, Romania. His music affair began when he was almost 7 years old. One day, his dad showed him on Youtube some famous guitarists and asked him if he wants to play that instrument. Andrei replied very excited that he really wants to learn how to become like those musicians he had listened and so the journey began. His father bought him an electric guitar and introduced Andrei to Petran Paveliuc, the best guitar teacher in the city. After only one year, Andrei Cerbu already had his own band – Kids Rock. All the members had ages between 8 and 10 years old and their talent and enthusiasm helped them gain people’s trust and appreciation around the city.
At almost 11 years old, Andrei Cerbu became famous around the country due to the TV show “Romania’s Got Talent”. He played, „Still Got the Blues” by Gary Moore, in front of the jury and the big audience (click the left image to see the video). It was a great success and sent him straight to the semifinals. After that, he won 1st place in the semi-finals, where he was playing on a flying stage, with the amp at his ear! In the finals, the judge decided that he will get 3rd place, a fact that amazed Andrei and made him cry with joy! He couldn’t believe the fact that a 11 years old could get so far!
Another great experience that contributed to Andrei’s Cerbu evolution was that he was the first kid who was invited to be a member of the bikers club in Iasi. The „Future Rider” Andrei was invited by Black Fist RC and Support MC to play the guitar at their first anniversary party. He was very touched by that moment and he still wears with great pride.
Success continued to bring Andrei Cerbu wonderful experiences. One day was got really surprised when Nicu Covaci (Phoenix) contacted him and proposed a music collaboration, so Andrei learned to play, for the first time, Balada by Ciprian Porumbescu.
The venerable rock star, Nicu Covaci, was so impressed that he asked Andrei to play with him and his band for more than one year. In this time, he learned a lot about being in a team, working with more musicians and be able to play on big stages. He even says that: “At my first concert with them, I couldn’t see the end of the crowd!” Phoenix is the oldest folk-rock band in Romania and it was a great honour for Andrei Cerbu to be part of their group. Also, at 12 years old, he also helped Phoenix record the acclaimed album “VINO TEPES”! (Click on the album cover to listen to one of the songs)
After being involved in his first album releasing, he realised that he needs a new path to go on, to try something new for him, but as old as the great music is: Blues! So he will start to study this new world for some time.
Meanwhile, he decided to go to a international contest, which took place in America! The contest was called “Word Championship Of Performing Arts”, where more than 1.600 contestants from over 60 countries were in for the big trophy! Still, Andrei was named a world champion two times at only 14 years old and also made some new friends from different countries: a Blues guitar player from Zimbabwe, a dancer from Taiwan etc. More and more, there was no competition at all, but a big family was forming!
Andrei is now 15 years old and enters in a new era of music: Heavy Metal! He had been listening to Nightwish, Iron Maiden, Sabaton, and Metallica all day long and a need for a band of his own was growing! In the end, he formed “The Iron Cross”, a band of teenagers, who are ready to rock the stages of the world. With a lot of hard work in a short time, He has managed to release his first Heavy Metal album!!
Besides the profound admiration Andrei Cerbu has for Nicu Covaci, another person who influenced his personality is Rares Totu. He was named ,,Best guitar player in Romania” in ’87 and ,,Best guitar player in Hungary” in ’92 and he played in the well-known band ,,Trans-Express”.
Rares Totu was the man who helped Andrei to buy his first Marshall JCM 800 amplifier and from that point Andrei’s music and sound totally changed. Rares Totu inspired Andrei to try blues rhythms and so they started to play together on the same stage with Rares’s new band, ,,Rares Totu and the Midnight Sun”. At his urging, he helped Andrei form his first blues trio, ,,Andrei Cerbu and The Rock Biscuits”.
At this time, he is 17 years old, with “Andrei Cerbu & The Rock Biscuits” and “The Iron Cross” made up of teenagers who love music to the bone! Click on the images below to read about each one of them!

Melodisch, vielleicht hier und da ein bisschen vintage, direkt und ein wenig dreckig, aber alles in allem gute alte Rockmusik - so könnte eine grobe Beschreibung der Musik von Andy Rocks lauten.Mit ihrer neuen Rockformation begibt sich die Black Daffodils Sängerin Andrea Weiß auf die Spuren klassischer Rockgrößen wie Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow oder den Foo Fighters, man klingt hin und wieder ein bisschen amerikanisch. Die Songs werden durch ihre klaren Strukturen, eingängige Melodien und gefühlvolle Gitarrenlicks leicht für den Zuhörer zugänglich. Nicht digital - sondern handmade und zeitlos.
Melodic, maybe a little vintage here and there, straightforward and a bit dirty, but all in all good old rock music - that could be a rough description of the music of Andy Rocks.
With their new rock formation, Black Daffodil's singer Andrea Weiss follows in the footsteps of classical rock greats like Bon Jovi, Sheryl Crow or the Foo Fighters, it sounds a bit American every now and then. The songs are easily accessible to the listener through their clear structures, catchy melodies and soulful guitar licks. Not digital - but handmade and timeless.
Μελωδικό, ίσως λίγο vintage εδώ και εκεί, απλό και λίγο βρώμικο, αλλά γενικά καλή παλιά ροκ μουσική - αυτό θα μπορούσε να είναι μια σύντομη περιγραφή της μουσικής τωνAndyRocks.Με το νέο τους ροκ σχήμα, η τραγουδίστρια του BlackDaffodil AndreaWeiss ακολουθεί τα βήματα των κλασικών ροκ μεγάλων όπως ο BonJovi, η SherylCrow ή οι FooFighters, ακούγεται λίγο αμερικανικό κάθε τόσο. Τα τραγούδια είναι εύκολα προσβάσιμα στον ακροατή μέσω των καθαρών δομών τους, των πιασάρικων μελωδιών και των ψυχωμένων κιθαριστικών θεμάτων. Όχι ψηφιακό, αλλά χειροποίητο και διαχρονικό.

Angeles is an American rock band from Los Angeles, United States, formed in 1977 by Dale Lytle. They were signed to Mystic Records, who released their debut album in 1984. As of 2020, Angeles has released thirteen albums.
The roots of Angeles can be traced to 1975 when Dale Lytle and Dave Raudman started the band “Avante-Gard”, the band's name was changed to “English” in 1976, before finally settling with “Angeles” in mid-1977.
The initial line-up of Angeles was a five-piece: Dale Lytle on guitar, Dave Raudman on vocals,
Terrell Hill on drums, Frank Galante on Bass, and Jen Nicia Alcivar on keyboard. On October 4th, 1980 Angeles headlined the Fall Rock Festival at Devonshire Downs;
Ron Bushy, the original drummer of Iron Butterfly, joined the band onstage.
On August 1, 1981, Angeles and Mötley Crüe co-headlined two concerts at The Troubadour.
After signing to Mystic Records in 1984, they released their debut album We're no Angels; Hit Parader described the album as "a tight powerful collection of metal anthems" that "manages to elicit plenty of excitement on tracks such as 'Nasty Girls' and 'No Sugar Tonight'." In 1984, Angeles opened up for Bon Jovi at the Reseda Country Club. Their second album Give It Up was released on the infamous Azra Records in 1986.
In 1989, their third album Give It Up was released on Ace Records. The band broke up in 1991, after releasing three albums.
In 1994, Angeles reformed with new singer Bryan Potter, Rhythm Guitarist Pat Schea (Schee), Bass Guitarist Marty Nelson and Drummer Chuck Landon "Isquith" in 1996, Potter was replaced with lead vocalist Brian LeBoeuf, Bass duties went to AJ Zalampous (Dimitri Antoniades) and drum duties to former Angeles Drummer from earlier years John Merritt RIP. They then soon released their fourth album, No Limits, which was their first release in eight years.
In January 2013, while playing a Make-A-Wish Foundation benefit concert, Angeles was joined onstage by Gary Richrath who was best known as the lead guitarist and a songwriter for the band REO Speedwagon from 1970 until 1989.
A 15th-anniversary edition of No Limits was released on 2013, with entirely new vocals, removed rhythm guitar tracks, and a different tracklist.
On January 22, 2014, Denise Fallon Naccarato, the singer of Angeles, was killed in a motorcycle accident.
Less than two years later, Angeles' drummer of 25 years, John Merritt, was killed in an automobile accident as well.
In 2016, Angeles signed with Rock Avenue Records USA, releasing Crazy and Killers of the Game to international audiences.
Angeles was featured in the 2016 documentary Inside Metal: LA Metal Scene Explodes which covers the era from 1981 to 1986 when local hard rock and metal bands rose to prominence in Los Angeles.
Angeles is currently signed to Bongo Boy Records.
On December 28, 2018, Rix Fox made his bass playing debut with the band at the Whisky A Go-Go; he parted with the band shortly after.

Artical is a Greek-German based band and is best known for its Progressive/Neoclassical/Melodic Power Metal sound. Created by Mike Dimareli (Guitar) on September 2002, Artical releases its first Full Length Instrumental album two years after, named FANTASY (2004). In 2007, in collaboration with Burning Star Records Label, Bob Katsionis (FIREWIND) as the guest keyboardist and Bill Aksiotis (vocals), the band releases its 2nd full length album HORIZON. After the successful release of Horizon, the band called the attention of the legendary Mark Boals (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, RING OF FIRE, DOKKEN) who recorded for the 3rd Artical’s full length album ILLUSION X (2013). After a 6-year break, Mike Dimareli (Guitar) brought together Angelos Gerogiannis (Keyboards) and Giorgos Matzidis (Drums), reactivating the band in the city of Athens, Greece. Artical reunites with Mark Boals in 2020 and together they record the 4th full length album of the band called Forevermore!

As I May is a four-piece modern melodic metal band from Mikkeli, Finland - formed in 2016. As I May consists of Tipi Nokelainen (vocals and bass); Lasse Hiltunen (vocals and guitar); Jani Valhola (backup vocals and guitars) and Marko Korhonen (drums).
The band released their debut album 'Speak No Evil' in 2017, and got the attention of lots of fans and from the record label Rockshots Records, who decided to sign As I May for the release of their 2nd album 'My Own Creations', which has been set for release in the summer of 2019. The album will be released in Asia through the label Spiritual Beast.
As I May has begun, gaining ground in the Finnish heavy metal scene and the aim is to move into the vast international scene with the new album. It's a mature band, displaying a truly professional attitude towards the modern sound of heavy metal. The soul of the music lies within the catchy melodies and the big choruses.
As I May combines modern elements, yet keeps focus on the heavier side of the music, and they sound like a modern day mixture of In Flames and Amorphis, so almost any metal fan would get a treat from listening to the music of these Finns!

Axemaster was formed in 1985 by lead guitarist Joe Sims. The project and music has stood the test of time and remains strong after over 30 years.
With the band's original lineup they recorded their first 4 releases: "Slave to the Blade" (demo EP cassette), "Blessing in the Skies" (full length album), "The Vision" (shaped pictured disc single), and "Crusades" (shaped picture disc single), the last 3 being released by Azra International Records. They were also featured on Azra Record's compilation shaped picture record "Metalgon" and in the comedy/horror movie "Killer Nerd".
Several lineup changes followed as the band recorded their next 2 releases: "Death Before Dishonor" (full length cassette, European-only release) and "5 Demons (Imperative is their Demise)" (self-released EP cassette). Joe Sims is the only original member to remain and play on every release. After this the band altered their musical direction and changed the name to The Awakening.
Four years later, Unisound Records {Greece} re-issued selected songs from 4 of the band’s releases (as well as 3 songs by The Awakening) on a CD titled "Axemaster & The Awakening, 1985-1995". In 2002 Unisound re-released "Death Before Dishonor" (as well as some unreleased material) on CD. The success of these discs proved that Axemaster's music remained in demand although the band had been inactive for several years.
The band's original lineup briefly re-united in 2007 and re-released "Blessing in the Skies" on disc through Burning Star Records {Greece}. The reunion was short-lived however, and the remaining members moved on to do a studio project under a different name.
In 2010, Sims permanently re-launched Axemaster and over the next couple years, started work on a new album with a lineup that included the band's current vocalist Geoff McGraw. Then, in 2014, the band signed a worldwide recording and publishing deal with Pure Steel Records (Germany), and released the full length album "Overture to Madness" in the following year.
After taking a year to play shows in support of "Overture", as well as adding a 2nd lead guitarist (making it the first time the band has had a dual axe attack!), and writing new material, Axemaster hit the studio in 2016 to record a new album ("Crawling Chaos") which was released by Pure Steel in late 2017.
"Crawling Chaos" includes 10 tracks with major label sound and the signature Axemaster style (a mix of traditional metal, doom metal, and thrash metal), that shows the band's evolution while still paying respect to their metal roots. The album has gotten rave reviews worldwide (both in webzines and on radio), which helps to affirm the general belief that it has all the elements necessary to become the most successful and memorable Axemaster album to date.
Shortly in advance of the new album, Pure Steel re-released a collection of the band's material from the 80's and early 90's as a collectable vinyl 2 record set titled "Blessing in the Skies (and other cuts from the chamber)". The album includes all the material from "Blessing in the Skies" and "5 Demons", as well as several additional songs. All of the material was re-mastered which GREATLY improved the sound of all the tracks.
Axemaster's unique blend of styles has proven to be a combination that appeals to metal fans from 2 different generations. This, coupled with the large amount of worldwide exposure they have received over the years and the band's resolve to keep moving forward, gives cause to expect that Axemaster will continue to achieve greater success in the future!

When you mix an attitude that Lemmy himself would sign with a vocal capacity worthy of Myles Kennedy and to that you add a sound that borns from the roots of rock with the power of today's metal, the result can only be an album not to be missed. That album is Love, Death & Flies, the third album by Bárbara Black, a singer and a band born to rock.
She is an independent artist with a long career, that in 2016 began her singer solo career realising Spiritual Rock. “Shiva” was the song chosen to be in Eurovision by the AEV Festival. Barbara has won several awards as a metal vocalist in Spain such as Best National Female Rock Singer chosen by La Heavy Magazine readers in 2013, 2014, 2018, 2019 and 2020. Barbara Black recently won the Battle Of The Bands on MDR with 32,071 votes, and is currently the Band Of The Month for June 2020! In 2017 she released the album Ad Libitum, and the band went touring in the UK in 2018 and in Spain in 2019. Black Belt Theatre is back with their 3rd release, "Power Petting", and it picks right up where "Superbitch" (2017) left off. Another collection of ripping, guitar-heavy jams that will have you singing along on the first listen. This is perhaps their most finely-crafted record to date. Each song different from the last, but able to stand on their own. Inspired by the burgeoning local metal scene of Tampa, Florida, Blood of Angels are making their mark on the genre that has guided them through the darkest of times. With local town heroes such as Cannibal Corpse and Nasty Savage inspiring down that path, Blood Of Angels blend death, black, thrash and lashings of power metal into a high-octane frenzy. Above all, the band combines their musical prowess and instrumental talents to make social commentary on public mistruths and the atrocities committed against humanity.
Band members, Randy Reyes (vocals), Aaron Robinson (guitars), Jonathan Rushford (drums), and the Maggot (bass) have been united under the Blood of Angels umbrella since the fall of 2015. They boast an abundance of experience as both musicians and songwriters, with 80 active years in the industry between them.
Utilizing thought-provoking lyrics akin to influential performers such as Dark Tranquility, Slayer, Cradle of Filth and Slipknot, they make music to fulfill the goal of creating concept albums that hold deep meaning.
Their EP release of "Rise of the Fallen Gods” (2017) achieved widespread critical acclaim and won numerous independent music awards. Blood of Angels was honored the “Best Metal/Hardcore Song” at the 16th Annual Independent Music Awards. Additionally, they went on to win “Best Metal Song”, “Best Metal EP”, and “Best Metal Video for the August 2017 Akademia Awards. To top it off, they were pronounced “Metal Band of the Year” at the 5th Annual International Music and Entertainment Awards.
With the signing to their new label Sliptrick Records, Blood of Angels has begun the finishing touches to its forthcoming album, “Failure of Faith", which will be released in 2020. The album will see them continue to dismantle the shackles of oppression, with particular attention paid to the subject matter of global, organized religion.
Their success stems from their ability and bravery to step away from the pressures and expectations of metal music, allowing them to dictate their own identity, visions and creativity. The ultimate goal for Blood of Angels? To play for as many people as they can, informing, motivating and enlightening them, as well as creating masterpiece albums that match their artistic vision.

Back to the roots - Guitars, bass, drums and vocals - Rock music we all can understand! This is how the band: Bloody Dice describe their hard hitting, slightly bluesy, gritty Rock n’ Roll.
Bloody Dice consists of 4 experienced musicians that have been active on the Copenhagen rock scene for a number of years. The vision of this band is to play music the same way they wanna hear music, with dynamics and “swing”. The mission is to bring back, and to emphasise simplicity and honest expression.
In a time where excessive use of autotune, quantization, and over compression is the only “right” way to record, and most productions sound un-dynamic, similar, and coloured by the use of plug- ins and smart apps, instead of featuring the core sound of the recording artist, Bloody Dice want to take things in the opposite direction.
The band feels that the music industry has moved too far away from the roots. “We want an honest sound, where music sounds like it is played by human beings and not by machines. We want warmth and dynamics back, and we want to embrace the imperfect and unpolished, because thats what makes all the difference”.
The people in this band have been through the old run of the mill a couple of times, with album releases that had thousands of layered layered tracks and sounded like a million bucks, but lacked nerve and authenticity. Having joined forces in “Bloody Dice” they have made up their minds to try a different approach, and to make that approach apparent, both live and on recordings. To help them achieve that goal, Bloody Dice have teamed up with producer Flemming Rasmussen, who owns “Sweet Silence Studios” and has quite a reputation, for his work with Metallica. Flemming is a great admirer of the authenticity of live recording, and he likes to do things the right way, even if it’s the hard way, and it shows in everything that he does. This makes Flemming the perfect partner for Bloody Dice
Bloody Dice is a good mixture of nationalities and genres. Guitarist: Nickie Jensen and drummer, Peter Larsen, who are both native danes, have played together in a band called “Violmace” which was a modern melodic Rockband. Bassist: Stuart O’Neill, who is british, was involved with Spanish speaking Heavy Metal outfit, “Mala Costumbre”. Vocalist: Dagfinn Joensen is from the Faroe Islands, and is probably best known for being the lead singer, in the reborn danish, eighties AOR/Rockband Fate.
Bloody Dice have been working on their music for about two years, and just as they were ready to conquer the world, Corona came along. Nevertheless, the guys are still hungry. Bloody Dice have released one EP in digital format, and played a streaming concert from Sweet Silence Studios. The band is now ready for hitting the danish stages as well as international ones, and fans of genuine, old school hard rock, have something to look forward to.

Bo Hyde, hailing from Upstate NY, is hard rock bassist who is an energetic live performer with the passion to create his own original music as well as contribute to other artists.
Playing in several projects, in 2017 Bo met and worked with upcoming indie rock recording artist Frank Palangi, making 2 EP's called “We Are One” (2018) and “The Wild” (2020). He is Influenced by bands like Val Halen - Metallica - Skid Row - Godsmack - Shinedown- Daughtry - Skillet - Black Veil Brides 5 Finger Death Punch – TSO. He's played a variety of bars, band events, and as an opening act with Frank Palangi and Midnight Drive projects. He's then even built a couple of his own guitars with his logo.

CAPTAIN BLACK BEARD

Captain Black Beard made it's live debut on the 31st of October 2009 and continued on to play most of the clubs in their hometown Stockholm, Sweden. At the end of 2010 the band decided to pick it up a notch and record a full length album. The completion of their self-titled debut CD was celebrated together with hundreds of friends and fans at Göta Källare in Stockholm on the 28th of May, 2011. In the fall the band made their first concerts abroad as they did a short tour of the U.S.
Captain Black Beard's first CD was hailed in the press with tons of great reviews all over the world, from Australia to Brazil, in magazines such as Classic Rock, Classic Rock AOR, Sweden Rock, Fireworks, Power Play, Black Velvet and Red Hot Rock. It was also named one of the "Albums Of The Year So Far" by legendary journalist Geoff Barton of Classic Rock.
2012 saw the band playing in the U.K. for the first time, headlining Summer Nights Rock Fest in Stockholm and gearing up for the next album, among other things.
Most of 2013 was spent working on the second album "Before Plastic" which was released via Dead End Exit (a division of RoastingHouse) Records in May 2014. The band also made a triumphant return to the U.K. playing the Hard Rock Hell festival in Wales and opening for Graham Bonnet (Rainbow, MSG, Alcatrazz). There were music videos for the songs "Somebody", "Bad Girl" and "Aiming For Love" made by 11 Frames Productions to coincide with the release of "Before Plastic", an album that's also been getting great reviews and features guest appearances by Bruce Kulick (KISS, Grand Funk Railroad) among others.
In February 2015 Captain Black Beard entered the studio to record their third album, with producer Chips Kiesbye (Sator, Hellacopters, Bonafide). During the year the band also toured Scandinavia as support act to Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Yngwie Malmsteen, Deep Purple), Robin Beck and House Of Lords. Their third album "It's A Mouthful" was released on March 18th, 2016 via Perris Records and the tour started with a comeback to the Hard Rock Hell AOR festival in Wales as well as supporting Joe Lynn Turner again. The first single "Divided Feelings" saw the band in another great video shot by 11 Frames. By the end of the year the band decided to find a new lead singer to elevate their sound. The band finished off 2016 by supporting Sator at a sold out show in Gothenburg.
In 2017 the new and improved Captain Black Beard entered the studio to record their fourth album. This time with producer Jona Tee (keyboardist in H.E.A.T).
On April 25th 2018 "Struck By Lightning" was released via Melodic Rock Records...

CARCARIASS is a Metal band from France. The current line-up is Pascal Lanquetin (lead and rhythm guitars), Raphaël Couturier (bass and vocals), Bertrand Simonin (drums) and Jerome Thomas (Singer on the New Album “Planet Chaos”). The music of CARCARIASS is very directed Instrumental and melodic going from Death Metal to Heavy Metal. The name CARCARIASS comes from “Carcharodon Carcharias” the latin name of the Great Withe Shark.

CARCARIASS est un groupe de Metal originaire de France (Besançon), ou plus simplement un groupe de Métal du centre ouest de l’Europe. Créé en 1997, à la fonte des glaces et suite aux premiers effets du réchauffement climatique , après une hibernation de plusieurs années (et oui ça caille en Franche-Comté),… les membres d’origine et actuels sont Pascal Lanquetin (Guitares Rythmiques et Solos, il peut jouer simultanément des solos et des rythmiques car c’est un mutant venu d’une autre constellation et il a quatre bras), Raphaël Couturier (Basse et Chant) dit « Raph » et Bertrand Simonin (Batterie) dit « Bebert », Pascal dit ... « Pascal » (Ha mais on l’a déjà dit) et pour le nouvel album Jérôme Thomas (Chant) dit... « Jérôme » !
Bon alors concernant la Musique de CARCARIASS , pour les puristes ça serait du TechnicoMelodicProgressiveDeathThrashHeavyInstruMetal avec des influences de musiques AmericanoHelveticoSuedoNorvegeoDanoGermanoPolonoFrancoBritanicoItalianoCanado, mais on va dire qu’elle est très mélodique avec de nombreux passages instrumentaux et va du Death Metal (du fait du chant grave qu’on comprend pas) jusqu’au Heavy Metal (pour les parties instrumentales), avec quelques petits passages dit “aspirateur à gonzesse” (car on a des tee-shirts girly à écouler). Enfin bref tout ça permet à CARCARIASS d’être potentiellement apprécié par tout fan de métal (et non pas Metal Fan qui signifie Ventilateur en Métal, ça serait proprement hallucinant mais cette histoire n’aurait alors aucun sens !).
Puisque personne ne pose la question , on va quand même le préciser « Il n’y a aucun message particulier dans les paroles de CARCARIASS ». D’ailleurs pour être franc, on ne sait même pas de quoi parle nos textes.
Ah ! une question intéressante de Jean-Barnabé : « d’où vient le nom CARCARIASS ? » Très bonne question de JB, et bien ce nom est un dérivé de CARCHARODON CARCHARIAS qui est le nom latin du grand requin blanc. D’où les pochettes de CARCARIASS avec des requins et des paysages aquatiques … c’est ce qu’on appelle un concept et tu l’auras constaté mon petit JB que CARCARIASS suit ses concepts et n’y déroge pas !
Deathcographie :
En 1997, première démo “ANCESTRAL WAR” (traduction pour ceux qui ont arrêté les études en CE2 « Guerre Ancestrale ») démo cassette de 5 titres ! et oui la fameuse cassette , bon on a aussi connu les téléphones avec des fils ! à savoir que dans cette démo il y avait aussi un deuxième guitariste : notre brother Bertrand Walter dit “le grand Bebert” qui est malheureusement décédé en 2000...,
Ensuite sort le premier CD intitulé "HELL ON EARTH” (on l’a enregistré à Besançon chez un pote qui s’appelle Bernard M et le mastering a été fait au Herrisson studio à Mulhouse, comment ça tout le monde s’en fout ? »), .. la petite anecdote : lors du tout premier concert de CARCARIASS à Besançon : Sold Out...200 personnes …une dizaine de blessés… fermeture de la salle pendant 2 mois … ça commence bien ! Hormis ce petit incident l’album permet de faire quelques bons concerts avec CRADLE OF FILTH, IMPALED NAZARENE, SADIST,...
En 1998, deuxième album "Sideral Torment" chez Impacts Records produit au Impuls studios en Belgique (GOJIRA,...), Belgique oblige : cet album nous a coûté très cher en bières, c’est peut-être pour ça que cet album a certainement la pochette la plus naze de l’histoire du métal ; Belgique qu’on retrouve en 1999 pour un petite tournée avec nos copains brésiliens de REBAELLIUN ;
Le savais tu ? Avant chaque concert , les membres de CARCARIASS sacrifient des limaces vierges.
En 2002, troisième album « KILLING PROCESS" chez Adipocere Records (MOONSPELL, ALASTIS,... ) produit au LB-LAB à Lille par notre ami Stéphane Buriez (LOUDBLAST), on se souviendra au LB LAB des vidéos poétiques de Stéphane (les mécano fistent plein pot...), les bonnes pâtes que nous faisait Arno de BLACK BOMB A,.. pour la pochette de cet album on a fait appel à Olivier Salin dit « Bones » qui dessine bien mieux que nous. Bon tout ça pour dire que “KILLING PROCESS” deviendra “un album culte et intemporel” (alors ça c’est ce que disent les zines et les journalistes que nous avons copieusement soudoyé), ce qui propulse le groupe dans la stratosphère des groupes qui ont droit à une bouteille d’eau par zicos offert par l’organisateur quand tu joues… ! Et alors là c’est la folie voir même du grand n’importe quoi, car le groupe va enfin réaliser ses rêves les plus fous : Raph s’achète des crayons de couleurs, Pascal peu enfin s’offrir ses pantoufles en peau de taupe, et Bebert s’offre des pièges à écureuil, plus sérieusement (car faut arrêter de tout le temps déconner) il faut dire ce qui est, cet album a eu son petit succès qui permet au groupe d’enchaîner (et sans cadenas) de nombreux concerts dans des salles comme le Divan du Monde (Paris), Pratteln Z7 (Bâle), La laiterie (Strasbourg), La Vapeur (Dijon), le Rockstore (Montpellier), L’usine (Geneve),.... et des tournées en France et dans les pays limitrophes (dont le ADIPOCERE Tour avec notre ami Franck Arnaud et les copains de BENIGHTED, FURIA et RAIN : alors pour la petite histoire, et pour que tu apprennes quand même un truc, dans RAIN il y avait notre copain DROP qui a fondé ensuite SYBREED et qui joue maintenant dans SAMAEL…). Pour tous ces concerts entre 2002 et 2004, Jérôme dit « Jérôme Hell » du groupe suisse YOUR OWN DECAY nous a rejoint à la guitare rythmique et pi aussi parce qu’il sent bon des pieds et qu’il fait très bien les crêpes flambées.
En 2003 , les cheveux de Raph mettent fin à leur jours et il décide de se raser le crâne (il est important de le signaler au cas où certains pensaient que c’était un nouveau membre dans le groupe).
Fin 2004, après un concert à Genève avec SETH et DESTINITY (d’ailleurs ne vous y fiez pas, ils sont que 5 dans SETH), on ne fera pas la beude à 2 balles du style « ils sont venus à deux voir SETH qui sont 5 en audi A4 en passant par l’A6 depuis Troie » , oui donc on disait qu’après ce concert et ben CARCARIASS décide d’arrêter les concerts (parce que fallait penser à nourrir bobonne et s’occuper des rejetons, et pi selon l'article 1520, alinéa 12 des droits du musicien on a droit à une minute de pause par note, fais le calcul !), par contre le groupe continuait de composer en cachette (malin les zicos ! voir limite un peu foufou !).
Alors nouvelle question de notre ami Jean Barnabé (décidément il n’y a que lui qui a des questions! quelque chose me dit que JB est un tantinet curieux, voire un peu chiant quand même ! ), “comment ça se passe quand on arrête de faire des concerts ?” : et bien c’est simple JB, on se bourre de graisse avant notre hibernation, ensuite on se met dans un état d'hypothermie régulée, notre température diminue progressivement, ce qui nous permet de conserver notre énergie.
En 2009, pour relancer l’économie mondiale et réduire le chômage en France, CARCARIASS sort son quatrième album "E-Xtinction" produit par l’excellent Stephane BURIEZ au DONKEY STUDIO (ah mais c’est le studio de mr Ducquene qui a vu Betraying the Martyrs, Ultra Vomit,...), et signé chez GREATDANE RECORDS (NO RETURN, MERCYLESS,...) avec Season of Mist distribution (pour info Great Dane nous a rencontré sur le Bon Coin en répondant à une annonce de Pascal concernant la vente de sa collection de plumes de paon bleu). Alors là pour cet album on est allé directos à PARIS (p’tain la Franche Comté débarque à la capitale ! nondediou !) Je vais te dire qu’avec nos bottes en caoutchouc on était bien vu dans le marais ! alors le truc c’est que le marais à Paris c’est pas vraiment un marais comme chez nous, c’est important de le savoir car c’est pas dans de la boue que tu risques de t’enfoncer !). La pochette de E-XTINCTION c’est à nouveau BONES qui l’a faite, faut dire qu’il se débrouille bien le gars ;
Mais dis dont, sais tu pourquoi il y a beaucoup d’instrumentales dans E-XTINCTION ? hé bien l’explication la voici : nous avions loué une maison pour l'enregistrement, elle avait une machine à laver, mais en mettant le linge dedans, Pascal a tiré la chasse et nous n'avons plus vu le linge depuis. C'est con car il y avait le t-shirt de Cannibal Corpse de Bebert dedans et le string de Raph qu'il avait hérité de son arrière grand-père. Du coup Raph s'est cassé en plein enregistrement et on n'a pas pu mettre de chant sur les autres chansons.
En 2013, nouveau master des deux premiers albums sur un double CD Digipack "Hell & Torment" chez Great Dane Records ; Avec des extraits de Live et 3 chansons remixées issues de la première démo du groupe ! et un pochette signée par la sublissime Alexandra V Bach (ADAGIO, TARJA, KAMELOT,…).
le savais tu ? lorsque qu’il est écrit SOLDOUT à l’entrée d’une salle de concert, cela ne veut pas dire qu’il y aura du poisson d’été (sole d’août).
En 2016, alors là c’est la totale, accroches toi bien ! : Réédition en version Digipack « brodé d’or fin » des albums KILLING PROCESS et E-XTINCTION intégrant des chansons Bonus comme “Revenger” avec au chant Max OTERO de MERCYLESS ! et “Domination” avec notre copain Fred du groupe helvétique MINDWARP.

Fin 2016, Après 12 années d’absence scénique (rien à voir avec celui de Renault), CARCARIASS annonce son retour sur scène (rien à voir non plus avec la petite rivière qui coule dans Paris). Ce qui ravit d’abord le groupe (hé oui on va pas se mentir, c’est déjà le groupe qui est content !) ensuite ravis de nombreux fans et organisateurs de concert, le cultissime magazine METALLIAN sortira à cet effet un spécial CD “Best of CARCARIASS”, un CD compilation regroupant 12 titres de CARCARIASS et distribué avec le magazine pour son centième numéro.
Dés l’annonce de son retour sur scène le groupe participe à de nombreux festivals tels que le HELLFEST 2017, GOHELLE FEST, MUSCADEATH FEST, SAMAIN FEST, SILLIUS FEST, HELL’OWEEN FEST, DREAMER FEST, CHAULNES FEST, METAL CULTURES FEST, OUTCH EXTREME METAL FEST , DARK BREATH FEST, …. on est obligé de tous les citer sinon on va dire qu’on fait de la discrimination de festivals... et pi c’est un peu comme à l’apéro, t’es prêt à boire ta bière et tout à coup y en a un qui commence à vouloir trinquer et après t’es obligé de trinquer avec tout le monde, c’est chiant mais c’est comme ça...
Le savais tu ? Raph est passionné de feuilles mortes, et lorsque l'automne arrive, il recolle les feuilles mortes sur les arbres. Ça lui prend tous ses week-ends !
2018 : CARCARIASS a fait quelques concerts part ci par là sans trop de stress. Avec les copains de Benighted, No Return, Mercyless, Agressor,... et pi avec Unleashed, Grave, Igorrr,...
Fin 2018 : le 10 décembre vers 10h05 du matin plus exactement, le groupe rentre en studio pour son 5ème album, au Downtown Studio à Geneve en Suisse avec aux manettes notre ami DROP (guitariste de SAMAEL et de SYBREED,...), pour enregistrer 13 titres !
Nouveauté : (à ne pas confondre avec “nouveau thé”de chez Lipton à la bergamote par exemple. Mais d’ailleurs Bergamote ça fait assez nom de groupe de Black Metal, non ?), bref on s’égare, sinon pour cet album, c’est notre ami JEROME THOMAS que nous connaissions des ex Your Own Decay (groupe de Brutal death metal suisse) et qui joue également dans l’excellent groupe suisse SCIENCE OF DISORDER qui est venu enregistré le chant dans l’album !
Question de Marie-Fabienne : “mais pourquoi avoir fait appel à un nouveau chanteur ?”, ben la réponse elle est simple : “pourquoi pas”
2019 : fin avril l’album est fini d’être enregistré et mixé ! Bon là on s’est pas emmerdé pour les paroles, on s’est inspiré de vraies lettres écrites par des “poilus” pendant la première guerre mondiale. Alors pour ceux qui ne “le savent pas”, et pour les dyslexiques qui ne “se lavent pas”, les poilus ça n’a rien à voir avec la pilosité entre les deux gros orteils de certaines personnes,...
Le nouvel album s’intitule “PLANET CHAOS” et devrait sortir fin 2019 ! Alors là c’est pareil , c’est le bordel on ne s’est jamais si Planet Chaos ça veut dire le Chaos de la Planète, la Planète en Chaos, la Planète du Chaos ... bref en anglais il semblerait quand le truc et après le nom, ça veut dire l’inverse en français, selon de grands scientifiques que l’on appelle aussi “professeurs d’anglais”,... bon enfin l’essentiel c’est d’avoir un titre d’album...
Et pi après la sortie de l’album, CARCARIASS va faire quelques concerts part ci par là et peut-être dans ton salon !

CONTORTION self-released "False Flag Paradigm" in 2014 and received tremendous feedback from fans and press alike. Zero Tolerance Mag (UK) stated, "Contortion plays their brand of aggressive, brutish metal with a competency and tightness you would expect." The band continued to hit the road and support the self-release throughout numerous venues including 2015's MAYHEM FEST and KNOTFEST.

Hailing from Philadelphia, New Wave of Traditional American Heavy Metal band Corners of Sanctuary (COS) formed in 2011 with a desire to bring back the sounds of Classic Heavy Metal.
2012 marked the release of their debut album “Breakout”. Being well received, “Breakout” was quickly followed up by “Harlequin”, releasing in 2013 with Pure Steel Records in Germany. Later that same year, their third album “Axe to Grind” released under La Mazakuata Records in Mexico. In 2014, Pure Steel Records re-released “Axe to Grind” in Europe.
In 2015, COS signed with Metalizer Records in Germany for the release of their fourth full-length album “Metal Machine”. Mastered by Death Dealer guitarist Stu “The Hammer” Marshall, “Metal Machine” was met with critical acclaim worldwide.
Corners of Sanctuary has performed with many notable artists including: Saxon, Anvil, Stryper, U.D.O., Butcher Babies, Grim Reaper, Tracii Guns, Saving Abel, Tim “Ripper” Owens, David Shankle (Manowar), Tantric, Marc Rizzo of Soulfly, Green Jello, Act of Defiance, Britny Fox and Damon Johnson among others.
In 2016, “Declaration of Metal”, a best of compilation, released. Most recently the band dropped a new EP titled “Cut Your Losses” and continues to tour supporting their unique brand of Metal. Both projects released on Exquisite Noise Records USA.
COS is currently in the studio working on their next album “The Galloping Hordes” with plans to release in late 2017.

DEATHCRAEFT

Deathcraeft is a thrash/death metal band from Greece. It was formed in 2017 by guitarist kostas Kalampokas who, after attending Berklee College of Music, created a recording studio business in his hometown, Ioannina. After producing albums for various bands he brought together Giannis Chionidis (drummer of the progressive death band Echidna) and Nikonas Tsolakos on vocals and they recorded the debut album of Deathcraeft called "On Human Devolution". It is a concept album based on
H.P. Lovecraft's writings and the Cthulhu Mythos he created, but at its core it deals with socio-political issues.
So, Deathcraeft is a band that was born in the studio, but its members are eager to do live shows - especially if the debut album is well received - and currently are getting prepared to start touring.
The album was released on bandcamp (https://deathcraeft.bandcamp.com/) on July 5th and will be released by distrokid on all major digital platforms (Spotify, Amazon, iTunes) on July 27th 2020.
The album will be available on physical format (CD) during Fall of 2020.

Desert near the end always thought of themselves as a missing link! Taking their first musical steps in the Greek metal scene of the 90’s they grew up with the great Power/Thrash bands of that era. But as the years passed they had the feeling that this sound has somehow lost its edge and so they made their mission to connect that sound with the front line of today’s metal.
The band started in 2009 when bassist/songwriter Akis Prasinikas and vocalist Alexandros Papandreou, who were playing together since their school days, decided to put aside all other projects and form something that combines their mutual routes with all the influences they gathered over the years as metal fans. Since then, they have released two albums: “A Crimson Dawn” in 2011 (self-financed) and “Hunt for the Sun” in 2014 (Total Metal Records). The mastering in “Hunt for the sun” was done by John K. (Biomechanical) and received very positive reviews from Greek and international media. It scored 7/10 in Metal Hammer (GR) and 7.5/10 in Rock Hard (GER). They describe their sound as story driven Power/Thrash Metal since all their work is based on the same concept story about a man’s search for “his” real sun whose light guides and not only blinds and how this search becomes inspiration for all humanity. At the moment they have finished the production of their third album named “Theater of War” which was mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen (the Haunted, Heaven Shall Burn, Kataklysm, etc) at Ant Farm studio. The album features their most extreme approach musically and lyrically brings the story to its conclusion.

GIA G is known for her instrumental music videos The Chase , Interwoven , Got back together with her former singer Katy Reign . Katy Reign met Gia back in 2007 in a previous lineup. She would take trips to Boston coming from her home town in Rhode Island to record and make music. It wasn't till 2016 that Katy and Gia decided to reform after a long road of different directions. Katy had pursued several other bands and projects as well as some solo projects which you can find under Katy Reign on Youtube, Gia began her solo act with instrumentals such as The Chase and Interwoven, which made quite the hit on her YouTube Channel. But here they are today, back at it as a team. Their first song and video released on Nov 16th 2016 called Severed Ties got a great response with 250,000 views so far. They released there second song and video on Aug 25th 2017 called Somewhere got a huge response , even bigger , 670,000 to date .They Named the band Devil In The Mist . Released there 3rd music video for there new single Far Gone on June 7th 2018 , doing extremely well 100,000 views in 12 days . Here they are releasing there 3 song EP with there new single Far gone on it, New version of Severed Ties , and Somewhere , which is released on here as a single to . They recorded the 3 songs at Galaxy park studio in Salem Ma with engineer Richard Marr , he is well known in the hardcore punk scene , did an amazing job in recording and getting our sound more raw and cutting edge , great mixing and mastering . He also hooked us up with drummer Stephen Hart and bassist Paul Engle they both did an awesome job on the rythum section taking it to the next level .Devil In The Mist 4th release . By far the strongest yet. Total different style from the last 3 songs from last years 3 song EP . Secret shows us great song structure , Haunting , dreamy , mystical feel , with off time guitar riff . Great rytum guitar by GIA G and bluesy leads and phrasing , showing us another whole dimension to her style . Katy Reign powerful vocals on this song are easily her best to date . The same rhythm section form the last 3 songs . Steve Hart on drums and Paul Engle on bass, easily there best performance on the Devil In The Mist material . New music video along with it. Takes off from the last music video from last years release Far Gone which came out June 7th 2018 . All 4 videos connect to each other . Over the course of a year, the band has had a handful of gigs thanks to a home demo, started collaboration with the booking company UNDERGROUND. The band received the Drivkraft scholarship from SV Vuxenskolan 2019.
At the end of 2019, the group changed their drummer to former Collossus drummer Thomas .
Diamonds and Guns will end the year 2019 by playing at Pub Anchor's Christmas party with Marielle (Metalcasino hostess) on 25/12, which will be the band's second gig at Pub Anchor 2019.
The band performs punk rock / punk'n'roll with straight pipes, cocky attitude, technical drums and with a party feeling.
We've probably thrown in a love of blues in the mix too!
People have said that we are similar to or have the feel of bands such as; Social Distortion, Dropkick Murphy, Turbonegro.
The band name, Diamonds and Guns, is a tribute to America's west coast punk rock, which is the great influence of the band members.

We are Dirty Toy Company, a Belgian hard rock /glammetal band formed in the spring of 2011. We bring both hard rock covers and original songs. Each time we hit the stage we only have one mission: KICK SOME ASS and have a great fuckin’ time! Founding members Wouter (drums) and Remco (leadguitar) are both diehard AC/DC fans, so we started out as an AC/DC coverband. The name “Dirty Toy Company” was chosen not long after the formation. After a long search of four years we hired our leadsinger, Jonas. At that time we had already progressed into different genres, like grunge and hairmetal. Still, even nowadays, hard rock is our fundament. We played our first gig in November 2014, and since then we’ve conquered many stages! Goin’ from small local pubs to bigger local festivals. In August 2015 we released our first song called “BURN YOU DOWN”, which turned out to be quite successful! We are currently recording our first EP and we’ve got many cool concerts ahead! Por muitas vezes foram aclamados como melhores músicos e melhor banda pelas revistas especializadas. É quase impossível ler uma revista de música, sem ver as entrevistas e os anúncios do DR SIN. A primeira apresentação brasileira na grande mídia foi durante o festival Hollywood Rock, em 1993, onde dividiram o palco com Nirvana e L7. Em 1993, arriscaram-se a ir para os EUA. E, após alguns concertos por lá, assinaram com a Warner International e o álbum (DR SIN) foi lançado em nove países. Seu segundo álbum (BRUTAL) foi lançado no Japão sob o nome de (SILENT SCREAM), seguido pelo álbum (INSINITY) e o álbum ao vivo (LIVE IN BRAZIL). O álbum (LIVE IN BRAZIL) fez parte de um /box-set/ de Yngwie Malmsteen.
O álbum (INSINITY) teve participações muito especiais. Uma delas foi Jonnathan Mover (ex baterista do Joe Satriani, Alice Cooper, Saigon Kick e Einstein) na música “Imnsonia”, outra, Silvio Luiz, um dos comentaristas brasileiros de esportes mais famosos, na música “Futebol, Mulher e Rock’n’Roll”, que se tornou um dos grandes /hits/ da banda. Em 2000, DR SIN lançou no Brasil, de um modo bem singular, outro álbum (DR SIN II). Foi distribuído em bancas de jornais por todo país.
Desta vez, o novo trabalho continha uma surpresa, Michael Vescera nos vocais, um famoso cantor americano, ex integrante de Yngwie Malmsteen, Loudness, Obsession e MVP. Outros convidados especiais foram Sergio Buss (Steve Vai, Tritone) e Roland Grapow (atual Masterplan e ex integrante do Helloween).
Em 2002, foi a vez de um DVD e um álbum duplo, gravado durante um concerto realizado em São Paulo, em homenagem aos 10 anos da banda, intitulados (10 ANOS AO VIVO).

Em 2009 lançam o álbum Original SIN , regravação do álbum DR SIN I com duas faixas bônus “Nephelins” e “You Are My Love”.
Em 2011, foi a vez de "ANIMAL", gravado nos estudios dos irmãos BUSIC, o Sonata 84, em São Paulo. Lançado pela gravadora LASER COMPANY, com assessoria de mídia de Eliane Veronezzi .

Em Setembro de 2013, se apresentou no ROCK IN RIO e em Outubro no MONSTERS OF ROCK, em seguida embarcou para um turne de 3 semanas nos EUA.
Em Março de 2014, participaram como principal banda do navio Motorcycle Rock Cruise.
Em 2015, DR SIN iniciou a tour do novo cd “INTACTUS” inteiramente gravado e produzido por ANDRIA BUSIC
Em Março de 2016, a banda encerra suas atividades e depois de 2 anos e 7 meses, em Outubro de 2018, os irmãos Andria e Ivan Busic retomam as atividades do DR SIN, agora com o guitarrista convidado Thiago Melo, que participou e venceu anteriormente a seleção com mais de 200 guitarristas para a banda Busic, projeto paralelo dos irmãos.

Em Novembro de 2019, o lançamento e distribuição do novo álbum "BACK HOME AGAIN" ficam a cargo do selo da revista brasileira especializada ROADIE CREW.
Often hailed as one of the best musicians and best band by Brazilian musician magazines, it is almost impossible to read a music magazine in Brazil without seeing interviews or advertisements from DR SIN. Their first presentation in Brazilian mainstream media was at the Hollywood Rock Festival in 1993, sharing the stage with Nirvana and L7.
In 1993, they took their chances in the USA, and after a few concerts there, they were signed to Warner International with their first album (DR SIN), being released in nine countries. Their second album (BRUTAL) was released in Japan under the name (SILENT SCREAM), followed by the album (INSINITY) and the live album (LIVE IN BRAZIL). The LIVE ALBUM was part of an Yngwie Malmsteen box-set.
The album (INSINITY) featured some very special guests. One was Jonnathan Mover (former drummer of Joe Satriani, Alice Cooper, Saigon Kick and Einstein) on the song “Insomnia”, and Silvio Luiz, one of Brazil’s most famous sports commentators on the song “Football, Women and Rock’n ‘Roll “, which would become one of the band’s biggest hits. In 2000, DR SIN released another album (DR SIN II) in a very unusual way (DR SIN II) in Brazil. It was distributed via newsstands all over the country.
The biggest surprise on this album was the presence of Michael Vescera on vocals, a famous American singer and former member of Yngwie Malmsteen, Loudness, Obsession and MVP. Other special guests were guitarists Sergio Buss (Steve Vai, Tritone) and Roland Grapow (current Masterplan and former Helloween member).
In 2002, a DVD and a double album, were recorded live in São Paulo, celebrating the band’s tenth anniversary, entitled "10 ANOS AO VIVO".
Their next CD was a covers album with all of the songs containing the word DOCTOR in their titles, such as “Calling Dr.Love” (KISS), “Rock and Roll Doctor” (BLACK SABBATH), “Dr. Feelgood” (Mötley Crue), “Doctor , Doctor “(UFO),” Dr. Roberts “(Beatles),” Somebody Get Me a Doctor “(VAN HALEN), among others.
In 2007, DR SIN released BRAVO, their eighth album, which was based on the facts and feelings that human beings experience in their day-to-day. It’s a heavy and powerful album.
In 2009 the album ORIGINAL SIN was released, being a re-recording of the album DR SIN I, with two bonus tracks “Nephelins” and “You Are My Love”.
In 2011, the band recorded the album “ANIMAL” at the Busic brothers’ studio, Sonata 84, in São Paulo. It was released by the record company LASER COMPANY, with media representation by Eliane Veronezzi.

In September 2013, they played at the 2013 ROCK IN RIO Festival and in October at MONSTERS OF ROCK in São Paulo. After that, they went on a 3 week tour throughout the USA.
In January 2015, DR SIN released its new album entitled INTACTUS. Everything was produced , arranged, edited, mixed and mastered by Andria Busic.

In March 2016, the band stopped its activities and after two years and seven months in October 2018, the brothers Andria and Ivan Busic returned to DR SIN activities, now with guest guitarist Thiago Melo, who had previously participated and won in the selection with more than 200 guitarists for the band Busic, the brothers' parallel project.

Drastic Down is the creation of guitarist Enrico Mariuzzo. Enrico moved to Washington State from his homeland of Italy in 2017. Enrico quickly jumped into the local music scene playing with various heavy rocking bands. A chance meeting on Craigslist brought Enrico together with vocalist Andy Brodigan. Craig Raphael was enlisted soon after as drummer of the band. Jordan Miles was added on bass as a recommendation from Craig.
The band released their first EP in June 2019 and have played shows all over the NW, opening for acts such as LA Guns, Michale Graves and more!

Elegy Of Madness is an Italian Symphonic Metal band founded in 2006 by Tony Tomasicchio. In the same year the first promo 'Another Path'was released.
In 2009 they published the first album 'The Bridge of Sighs' and in 2013 'Brave Dreams' promoted all over the world through festivals (Exit - Novi Sad) and opening shows for great bands (Arkona, Skrillex, Sabaton).
In 2017 they released the third album called 'New Era' distributed all over the world and obtaining a special limited japanese edition.
In May they started promoting 'New Era' with many Italian and European live shows but mainly taking part in festivals like "Balkan Metal Meeting" (Pula - Croatia) and "Zobens um Lemess open air Festival" (Lone - Latvia) opening for great bands such as Amorphis, Batushka and Heidevolk. They also played at "Dream Rock Event" (San Pancrazio-Italy) with D.G.M, at "South's Cheyenne metal Fest" supporting Lacuna Coil and at "Taranto Rock Festival" as special guests.
In April 2018 the Ukrainian Tour started with four gigs, Zaporizha, Krivoj Rog and Kiev like opening band for Therion’s live concerts.
On October 7 they performed at Quinphonic festival in Birmingham and played in London and Tipton.
On May 2019 the band supported Mark Boals (Malmsteen) in Florence, Milan and Rome, in June they recorded their fourth full lenght album at Domination Studio (Raphsody, Michael Romeo, Twilight Force). Currently the band keep on playing around Italy and will finish the New Era Tour.

Elysium is a Symphonic Folk Ghotic band with female vocals, female keyboard and male violinist, drawing inspiration from early Whitin Temptation and Nightwish, as well as from the most popualar European rock acts like Anathema. Between catchy and symphonic refrains, melodic guitar riffs and vocal counterpoints on a solid Rock basis, the band makes frequent incursions in Classic Rock (Queen, Muse), Folk and Prog (Eluveite & Pineapple Thief ), occasionally adding opera or gospel choirs. The use of Keyboards and orchestration sequences enriches the songs and adds an synfonic edge to them, going to duet with violin and guitar. The songwriting duties rely on singer Daphne Nisi (Baraonna),and Bass player Marco Monetini (Gerico, Nidi di Ragno, Fuorilinea), flanked by Violin player Christian Arlechino (La Tresca).

EMPRESS

Formed in 2018, Empress spawned between Vlad Khavin (guitars, orchestration) and Mark Stainthorpe (drums) who set out to create something not often found in the Philadelphia music scene, with love for bands such as Symphony X, Kamelot and Epica, a heavy and orchestrated blend of power and progressive metal. Recruiting Joseph Muir (guitar) the trio began their quest for a vocalist eventually bringing Barbara Blackthorne into the fold once they heard her powerful voice. Nicholas Bonsanto soon completed the lineup on bass.
Vlad's composition combined with Barbara's powerful, trained vocal abilities creates a unique world for listeners to inhabit utilizing various voice techniques, genre bending segues, and hard hitting riffs that pummel listeners to bow before Empress. Stay tuned for more single releases as we lead up to the release of our full-length debut album.

Evil King is a Greek / Argentine group that plays a power progressive metal with melodic and epic shades. Their debut feature 'THE DARK AGE' is already on the digital platforms and in a few days it will be available on ELEVATE RECORDS in Digipack CD format.
If we had to define the sound of Evil King surely the reference groups could be Kamelot and Iron Maiden, but surely the Greek and Argentine origin of their members is definitely felt in their sound.
Powerful but very melodic songs, overwhelming solos, excellent singing, these are the salient features of the Evil King that are certainly a very interesting output for those who love the genre.
